Personnel audit is becoming an essential tool for improving the effectiveness of human resource management in modern organizations. With the help of an audit, it is possible to identify and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the personnel management system, which allows you to build a management strategy in accordance with the long-term goals of the organization. In the context of increasing competition and rapidly changing market requirements, organizations need to optimize the use of their human capital. Personnel audit allows you to objectively assess the potential of employees, their compliance with their positions, as well as the effectiveness of the company's personnel policy. This is especially important in the context of digitalization and innovative development, which require constant professional development and adaptation of employees to new conditions.The following methods are used in the research process: analysis and synthesis of information, data collection through questionnaires and interviews of employees, as well as the use of methods of statistical analysis. The main audit tool is a matrix analysis of employee competencies, which allows you to assess the current level of knowledge, skills and abilities of staff, as well as their compliance with business requirements.
As a result of the conducted research, the main factors influencing the effectiveness of personnel management have been identified. Based on the audit results, recommendations were made to improve the human resource management system, which include adjusting personnel policy, improving the training system and evaluating employee effectiveness
